In this series I will be using a created player modeled after myself. I will start playing my High School State Tournament, followed by my college and pro career.

So without further ado, lets take a look at the center of the story.

Heading into the Minnesota State Tournament, Dominic "Doc" Dawkins has drawn some interest from a number of D1 colleges, but not have yet to make an official scholarship offer. The scholarship offers will depend on Dawkins' performance in the state tournament.

The South Saint Paul Packers have advanced to the semi finals after blowing out the Red Wing Wingers 80-54 in the opening round of the state tournament. Senior forward Dominic Dawkins was the driving force behind the Packers victory as he scored 13 points along with grabbing 8 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists. Dawkins controlled the pace of the game for the Packers, who only have 2 other seniors on their roster.

If the Packers are going to continue their miraculous run they will need to rely on the senior leadership Dawkins provides. Dawkins is one of the top recruits in the state according to Rivals, although he has yet to receive any D1 offers.

Behind a 12 point 4th Quarter by Senior Dominic Dawkins, the South Saint Paul Packers advance past the Fergus Falls Otters in a thrilling semi-final. The Packers are now in position to win their first ever Boys Basketball State Title and will be participating in their first title game since 1970, and 4th overall appearance.

The Packers will be taking on the DeLaSalle Islanders in the championship game. The Islanders are a dynasty, appearing in 14 championship games in school history. They have also won the previous 4 Class AAA championships and they are heavily favored to win their 5th straight.

After 2 games in the state tournament, lets take a look at how Dominic Dawkins is progressing on the goals the schools on his list have given him.

In what ended up being a one sided affair right from the get go, the DeLaSalle Islanders knocked out the upstart South Saint Paul Packers to win their 5th straight state title. South Saint Paul Senior forward Dominic Dawkins did all he could to keep the Packers in the game, putting up a career high 31 points with an efficient shooting performance. He also notched 5 rebounds and 4 assists, however he was nearly matched shot for shot by DeLaSalle point guard Tyson Atkins, who despite an awful performance from behind the 3 point line, still managed an efficient 22 points to go along with 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals.

The result really came as no surprise as the Islanders came into the title game as heavy favorites, and they will be the odds on favorites again next season as they return 11 players from this season as they will look to win their unprecedented 6th straight state title. With their recent run of titles, one has to wonder when the Islanders will make the jump to AAAA? There was much grumbling in the stands during the game today about DeLaSalle's status in Class AAA, although not quite on the levels we saw when St. Thomas Academy was a mainstay in the Class A hockey tournament.

Lets take a look at how Dominic Dawkins fared with the scholarship requirements set forth

After speaking with Dawkins after the game, he informed me he will be releasing who he will attend college on National Signing Day via a YouTube video. Stay tuned to see where he chooses!

I used a someone's fictional NCAA roster for the high school portion so I'm not sure if he used FDU players or not.

I haven't decided what draft classes I'll be using yet besides knowing that I'll be using a real 2017 class (with Dawkins added) for the first draft.

Edit: Just looked, the FDU draft classes are on PS4 and I'm on Xbox so I won't be using those.
