JAZZ (2-2) BLOWN OUT BY ROCKETS (3-1)

It was pretty much a make or break for this houston rockets team that went all in on Chris paul, hoping to make noise in the playoffs. Either they beat this Jazz team or they lose to a pretty average 8/7th seed team. The first quarter the jazz played nice team basketball, keeping the score at 29-29, but from the second quarter and forward the rockets went up and never looked back. Their Good team defense and ISO/Pick and Roll Offense was too much for the Jazz, winning 102-127

Rockets receive: Paul Millsap, DeAndre Bembry
Hawks receive: Jianlian Yi, Sam Dekker, 2017&2019 2nd Round pick.

Why this is good/bad for the Rockets
The Rockets add more defense to their already good defensive team, some
needed floor spacing that Yi just wasnt giving on a consistent enough level, and another all-star to round out the team. They give up two second round picks, a valuable youngster in Dekker, and the guy who was going to be replaced anyway in Yi, who was having a good season.

Trade Grade: 8/10

Why this is good/bad for the Hawks
They get solid value for millsap who was wanting out anyway, they start their Tank earlyer in the season, They get two 2nd rounders, Sam Dekker looked promising this year only being 22 years old. They give up Bembry who was a roster filler anyway. And they receive Yi, who grabbed 6 rebounds a game, 6.3PPG while shooting 345% from the field and 325% from three.

Trade Grade: 6/10

Man, a starting 5 of Paul, McGrady, Battier, Millsap, and Yao is pretty OP. Surprised the Hawks took that trade from you.

What are your rotations looking like? Looks like your bench is utilized pretty lightly.

yea i was being pretty greedy on the Rotations, played every started 36 minutes, Ran McGrady with the bench. he was isoing alot, i found that that was what worked the best for me since the bench is actually ridiculously weak compared to the starting 5.
Like i said in another thread though, the save file is gone, i contacted 2K to see if i can get it back, no response yet.

I was excited to see Paul in the front court with Yao...bummer man! I'd love for you to recreate this again! Nice touch!

Yao ming had a monster performance today, and damn was it needed. Cauley stein was increadible, shooting 15/16 from the field leading his team in scoring, but it wasnt to be as the Chinese giant kept scoring on him in the 4th Quarter, Post moves, Shakes, Hooks, Fadeways and even a three pointer, the big man was unstoppable. Takes rockets to 2-1 record, beating kings 118-109 away from home.

In the next game the Rockets will Host the Utah Jazz in Houston, Texas.

How do you get that Score box?
