The Sixers have decided to have Jordan Clarkson come off the bench behind JJ Redick. Clarkson provides so much depth to the Philly roster providing a two guard who can also run the position of the point. 4th string point guard Jacob Pullen was sent down to the G-League as a result of the Clarkson trade.

The 76ers hosted the Houston Rockets at home in their second home game of the season. Jordan Clarkson made his sixers debut with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assist but shot for a terrible 31% from the field. Ben Simmons would garner 20 boards along with 13 points and 10 assist for his second triple-double of the season. The game would come down to the wire, The Rockets would catch up and take the lead late in the fourth quarter. Joel Embiid had a chance to take the game into overtime with a buzzer beater shot that bricked off the rim. Houston wins 81 to 79.

The Dallas Mavericks welcomed the Philadelphia 76ers to the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Harrison Barnes led the Mavs in scoring and played a great game, Philly was down most of the game and had to fight back in the fourth quarter by outscoring Dallas 28 to 13. The game still came down to a buzzer beater shot from Ben Simmons with 0.8 left on the clock. Ben had his 3rd triple-double of the season, but this one was his first triple-double with a victory. The Sixers walk out of Dallas with their heads high and the W.

The 76ers faced the Houston Rockets for the second time in less than a week, earlier this week Houston won by 2, this time they won by 23. The underlining factor in Houston's victory was the 3 pointers made. Both teams took 27 three point shots, Philly made 8 three's while Houston made 16 three's. That's 24 more points due to 3 point shots and Houston won by 23. Moral of the story for Philly, Don't let Houston get hot from the three.
