Surging Magic Clinch Playoffs
________________________________________________

March 20, 2013

Today Magic fans rejoiced as the team clinched the playoffs. The Magic have been red hot in March and are currently 8-3 in the month. Recently the Magic even over took Miami and became the number one seed in the Eastern conference.

Magic Free Agent Options
________________________________________________

It may be late March and the Magic are currently playing great leading the Eastern conference. But next offseason will be the biggest in Magic history. Unlike last year many expect Dwight to return to Orlando but many expect the Magic to field almost a completely new team next year. So speculation about the roster is going to be happening more and more as the season winds down.

The biggest moves involve Jameer Nelson (75 ovr) and Kenyon Martin (76 ovr). Nelson is payed like a top tier guard but is not playing like one. Martin although having a great season with the Magic is 35 years old and is not the stretch four the team would like to pair with Howard.

Here is our best Magic free Agent options

Point Guards:
1. B.Jennings 82 ovr 23 years old
2. Eric Bledsoe 81 ovr 24 years old ON TEAM OPTION
3. Isaiah Thomas 77 ovr 24 years old
4. Jeff Teague 77 ovr 24 years old

(Reach: Monta Ellis 88 ovr 27 years old)

Power Forward:
1. Paul Millsap 84 ovr 28 years old
2. Marvin Williams 77 ovr 26 years old
3. Kenyon Martin 76 ovr 35 years old

Other Options:
1. Move Wes Matthews to SF, Batum to PF sign A.Afflalo 80 ovr and average PG

2. Move Matthews to SF, Batum to PF bring back in J.J Reddick 74 ovr. Sign one of listed PG.

I'm torn on if I should pursue a passing PG and build kind of a Nash, Amare type team with Dwight or if I should pursue a scoring guard to pair with Dwight.

Also would ya'll call it cheating if I traded for a player like Gordan Haywood who is a low overall now but I know will become good?

I wouldn't call it cheating. Just because they became good in real life doesn't mean that they will have the same success in the game.

Plus, front offices misjudge talent all of the time. They may ship off a Young player too early before they break out and end up wishing that they hadn't traded them. If you make a trade for someone like Hayward, just make sure it seems fair for them and I say pull the trigger.

I look forward to seeing what you do in free agency, especially at point guard. I think either style will work out great, and it will be interesting to see how you build around Dwight and your new point guard.

Following! I loved NBA 2k13, so this dynasty is going to very entertaining!

It would be very interesting to see Isaiah Thomas signing with the Magic. The pair formed by a giant would be very funny to see. What's more, IT has been a good player since Kings, but I do not know why Kings and Phoenix have traded it without even taking advantage of the potential of the player.
