Looking good so far. Ive done so many expansion drafts and never once seen Tristan Thompson, did you do that manually or did the cpu just leave him

Was using a downloaded roster that looked good on the surface, but after playing around with it for a bit, realized that it wasn't great.

Restarted and updated the draft/Expansion draft.

RJ Barrett slipped to me at #4! What a steal for Canada!

Mounties decline options on two players

Treveon Graham and Lance Thomas had their team options declined earlier this morning.

GM Steve Nash didn't rule out resigning either player, but with their current roster size (18), it's unlikely that they'll return.

Roster announced for home opener

The Detroit Pistons head to Montreal for the Mounties debut on Friday night.

Mounties head coach Jerry Stackhouse is excited to get the season underway. "We have a bunch of guys who have never played together. It may take a few games to get some chemistry going, but we expect to be very competitive."

Detroit arrives after a relatively quiet offseason. 10th overall pick Sekou Doumboya looks as if he'll slide into the starting rotation for the Pistons.

Montreal debuts their first NBA franchise with a very young and untested roster. After seeing Canadian RJ Barrett slide into their hands with the 4th overall pick, they also added 7'3'' center Bol Bol.

Stackhouse spoke about Bol this morning: "Bol is a great project for us. He's got great size, is very athletic, and has a ton of potential."

Free agent signing Terry Rozier Jr. comes over from the Celtics, and should see huge minutes running the offence for the first time in his career.

Mounties opening night roster

PG-Terry Rozier
SG-RJ Barrett
SF-Gordon Hayward
PF-Ivan rabb
C-Bol Bol

Bench:
Kelly Olynyk
Evan Fournier
Deandre Bembre
Royce O'Neale
Tyler Ennis
Gary Trent Jr.
Angel Delgado
Elie Okobo
Seth Curry

G League:
Isaac Bonga
Darius Bazley

Euro Stash:
Luka Samanic

Mounties open season with drubbing of Pistons

(1-0)

Rookie head coach Jerry Stackhouse said before the game that he considers this team as a playoff threat, and in their franchise debut they didn't disappoint.

Riding a 15-0 run to start the second half, the Mounties ran over the Pistons 112-92.

RJ Barrett was a beast in his first career game, 30 points to go along with 5 assists on 13-19 shooting.

Bol Bol was also very good, putting up 21 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Ivan Rabb led the Mounties with 16 rebounds. The 22 year old starts the season in the starting rotation and hops to stick long term.

On the Pistons side, Semi Doumbouya debuted, and led the team with 20 points. Blake Griffin (18 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists), and Andre Drummond (10 points, 15 rebounds), both played well, but couldn't slow down Barrett.

The Mounties host Sacramento on Saturday, which will mark the return of Demarcus Cousins to the Kings.

Loving this. I had an Ottawa Mounties expansion team in my league. Love it! Looking forward to how you manage the team

(2-0)

RJ's late 3 helps Mounties slay Kings

RJ Barrett put up a second consecutive strong start, including a buzzer beating 3 pointer to help the Montreal come back to beat Sacramento, 113-111.

Barrett scored 29 points on an incredible 11 for 13 shooting.

Bol Bol followed up a strong debut by putting up 18 points to go along with
7 blocks, including a potential game saving swat with 12 seconds left.

On the Kings side, De'Aaron Fox couldn't be slowed down, as he shredded the Mounties defense with 37 points.

Demarcus Cousins had a strong start, putting up 23 points and 21 rebounds.

Marvin Bagley also had a double-double for the Kings, with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Up Next: The Mounties continue their homestand tomorrow, as they clash with perennial MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
