We don't get an invite to any tournament, not that I expected we would. Valdosta State (who is now ranked, and also who we plastered) wins the conference tournament over Davidson who made it all the way to the final after beating us. They get an 11 seed in the tournament.
Chattanooga made the CBI, as did Furman. Elon made it to the Ci.com tournament.
Multi-bid conferences this year, not a good year for the major conferences.

The 1 seeds this year are Nebraska (92), Illinois (94), Michigan State (83), and Alabama (82).
First Weekend, Sweet Sixteen teams
West: (1) Nebraska, (5) Indiana, (7) San Diego and (11) Providence. Biggest upset, (13) Denver over (4) UCONN
Midwest: (1) Illinois, (4) Southern California, (7) DePaul, (3) Nevada. Not a single upset in the 1st round, seed wise and only DePaul's win over Texas A&M has deviated from the seed expectations.
South: (1) Michigan State (4) Kentucky, (2) Baylor, (3) Pittsburgh. Another calm bracket. A few upsets in the 1st round, 12 seed District of Columbia took down TCU.
East: (1) Alabama, (5) Pacific, (2) Rutgers, (3) Boston College. Another run of the mill region. Pacific barely got by 4 seed Cal in the 2nd round, 58-57. Pacific is a 91 prestige school and is probably going to join the Pac-11 next year.
Second Weekend
West: (1) Nebraska vs (11) Providence in the Elite 8, Providence jumps all over them from the start, and Nebraska never gets closer than 6 the rest of the game and the 11th seeded Friars are off the Final Four. Until now, I hadn't realized they also played in the play-in game to even become the 11th seed. Providence is an 84 prestige school and this is their 1st Final Four all time in 20 NCAA appearances.
South: (2) Baylor vs (4) Kentucky in the Elite 8, it's a tight game and Kentucky threatens to pull away several times before Baylor claws back and forces overtime. In the OT though, Kentucky jumps on them and wins by the score of 113-101. Kentucky is a 75 prestige school that has fallen on some hard times recently, but historically have been very strong. This is their 8th Final Four.
Midwest: (1) Illinois vs (3) Nevada, Nevada had a 10 point lead with 8 minutes left, but couldn't hold on and they end up losing 83-79. It ends an excellent season for the Wolf Pack, who normally would be another candidate to join the Pac-11, if Pacific weren't so strong. Illinois has 34 wins now. This is their 4th Final Four.
East: (1) Alabama vs (3) Boston College, Boston College had them doubled up 30-15 in the 1st half. Alabama cuts under 10 a few times, but never really threatens and BC wins 81-66. BC is a 98 prestige school and this is just their 4th Final Four appearance in 42 NCAA tournament bids.
Final Four:
(11) Providence vs (4) Kentucky: Kentucky pretty well holds Providence at arm's length the entire game and ends up winning by the final of 92-84.
(1) Illinois vs (3) Boston College. Illinois jumps out in front 7-0, and maintains the lead the entire game from tip to buzzer and really piles it on at the end to win by the score of 92-70.
Championship:
(4) Kentucky vs (1) Illinois: Illinois jumps all over them, forcing Kentucky to play catch up most of the game, before they finally tie it with 11 minutes to go. They never do take the lead and Illinois wins the national championship 71-61. Senior guard Tony Parker, he of the 27.1 a game scoring average had 22 points to lead the Illini.
