How will you do the draft? Will you do the real draft and take who everyone took or are you putting in a custom draft?

Not a fun way to end the season but we saw some building blocks already there in Geoff and Stan McKenzie. I look forward to seeing who you pick up in the draft.

Thanks for checking in, Marsh. Real draft, in this occasion and in every single year going forward. As I said in the first post, I want to keep this simple, so I'm playing season files in order to have all real transactions done from the beginning (until the Bobcats come into play, at least. Association files with less than 25 teams tend to crash). If I ever make a different transaction -- let's say, pick MJ in '84 (I won't), then Bowie goes to Chicago. Minimal changes. There's a lot of names I want to play against and I don't want to build a 14-All Stars team either. Speaking of different "transactions":

1) If you go back to February, I edited a post in which I didn't write about the All-Star Game, so there's that. No Blazers/Cavs/Braves players like it happened in real life (Petrie and some others made it) or I had to change a lot of stuff.

2) All records and playoff series are duplicated from real life, expect for Portland's, obviously, and New York's (one less win -- Petrie's 44-point night here).

3) Since the Blazers' points per game were much, more lower than in real life (around 15 points), I edited all the other teams' PPG as well, or we would have been the league's worst offense by A LOT. League leaders in all categories are also real life's.

4) I created an All-Rookie 2nd Team, which wasn't done back then, but I didn't want to waste a lot of time awarding MIP, Sixth Man or DPOY; they will come in the future and I will get to write a little bit about them too.

Thanks Role. Geoff and Stan are the cornerstones right now, for sure, and I think Gilmore has earned a spot as well, so Manning is out. Despite posting a triple-double, Barnett hasn't been great -- Adelman has, so that's something to think about.
