I've been playing and enjoying the Sony MLB series since the PS2 days and been a fanboy, for want of a better description, all that time. However, while the Sony guys do a great job they've landed in that spot where the game is successful enough it's in a position where it doesn't need to make radical changes year to year. In fact, not only is it tempting not to do anything substantial but it might actually be detrimental to do so. Not that I'm suggesting for one second that the developers are "lazy"...

Not sure if the title will be MLB 10, but either way I have two random(ish) ideas for the next version of the Sony baseball title, otherwise known as The Show.

1. Expand on the existing highlight system and have an option for all replays to be shown in succession. Being able to customise the camera and roll the replay as if you were checking a replay in the middle of the game might work for some, but an NBA 2k9 style replay which showsn one highlight after another without any interference...
