We finished the Regular season 1st in our division. We had quite a few key injuries, so the stats are pretty misleading. Guys like Zykov, Glebov and Pikkarainen missed quite a bit of time.

Bradley Boulerice had a career high point season though despite missing his linemates, a problem that needs to be addressed.

Washington Capitals - NHL 14 Dynasty (2023-24) (1st Half Update)

Well, As I approach the All-Star game, my Washington Capitals team has beaten and clawed it's way to a 26-15-6 start, good for a comfortable 3rd position in the Metropolitan Division.

I have made quite a few moves so far in the season, mostly to address team depth after the changes that took place in the offseason. (see last post for offseason transactions).

After my last post I was just before the All-Star game. I made a few depth moves prior to the deadline to address injuries and also just add all around size to the lineup.

This is my first post about my NHL 14 Washington Capitals. I've gone through nearly a decade obviously, and been in a constant state of trying to retool the roster. I won the cup once in 2018/19, but the roster was old for the most part, and I wasn't able to replace guys immediately. Now though I've retooled to a point where I want to start posting about the team. I've made some big roster changes, to hopefully make a big, physical team in the image of the Los Angeles Kings and St. Louis Blues.
