In 1985 virtual football was first introduced to me in the form of NES's " 10-Yard Fight. I was 10 years old at the time and had already seen my football team the Redskins win their first Super Bowl and third NFL Championship. I knew all the players on the team by number, position and name, but 10-Yard Fight had no names to go along with it.
