If the first week of the season is any indication this team is going to be a blast to watch. The Aces went 2-1, beating the Clippers at home 140-120, and the Lakers on the road 100-95. Before losing to the Clippers in the rematch at their house 113-112 on a last second Ray Ray shot.

The city had been a buzz all week in anticipation for this opening night. There have also been rumors that some players have been seen out on the town frequenting several casinos late into the night as opening night approached. At least for opening night those distractions didn't seem to distract the players on the court.
