The Paterno family is appealing the NCAA consent decree signed by Penn State President Erickson on July 23.

The NCAA sacked Penn State with a four-year postseason ban, reduced 40 scholarships over four years, vacated all wins from 1998-2011 and leveled a $60 million fine.

So I’ve been using HKS Racing controller for a day now and I must say I’m pleased and annoyed at the same time. I hope this helps some people who are on the fence with this alternative to the PS3 analog controller and people without the space for a true wheel.

Today's blog will be more a question then a statement. I know this is a sports dedicated website and one I've been proud to refer friends to. But, I have to say this, I may be done with sports video games. Why? you may ask.

Because, I've gotten to the point were I'm always changing sliders, settings, etc... instead of playing the actual game. When I play any other games I never worry about that stuff. I've been playing...

So I just played NBA Live 10 online against this guy. I was the Thunder, he was, I'll let you guess 1 of 4 teams... Give up? He was the Cavs. I bet you're shocked.

Anyway, the game is a little choppy but, not enough for me to quit. It's only the 4th game I've played online because I was tired of cheesers.

So it's a back and forth game, he held a 5 point lead the entire game. I think it may have gotten to 12 in the 1st half. But, I figured my bball skills and stick...

After going back and forth whether to sell NCAA 10 or not, I had to give it one more shot. I paid $60 for this game and I owed it to myself as a college bball junkie and my wallet.

1st thing I did was take the game for what it is. I've read all the posts and even some of my own. I threw them out the window. I was going into this with a clear head.

IMO, so many times we get wrapped up with the boards and wait for the first thing to go wrong. Lack of CPU 3 point shooting...
