Why is it that anytime you don't act overjoyed about something the EA team posts some of these OS internet thugs come out attacking you and labeling you a *****? It's not that anyone is attacking EA, Ian, Phil, Donny or any of the rest of the crew. All we are saying is that this game has been sub-par for almost 4 years so why do we have to be "haters" when we don't jump on the bandwagon at the first sign of change.

Look at it this way. If you knew a woman who was in a abusive relationship, but she kept going back to her boyfriend because he said "I'm sorry baby. I promise it won't happen again. Please come back" you would say that girl was stupid for continuously going back. Yet here on the Madden board after 4-5 years of developers coming out and saying "This game will be great. Wait and see guys. This new $#!t is groundbreaking" we are supposed to start screaming for joy because their doing it again?!??!?!

The so called "haters" are hoping just as much as everyone else that Ian and crew come out and drop a bad *** game with great graphics, new features, deeper franchise mode, etc but we are going to hold off on shouting hallelujah until we see some vids of actual gameplay. Not words and carefully orchestrated screenshots.

Everything that has been verified so far to be new to the game is great and I applaud the developers for doing what they have done so far, but there is still a long way to go people. We all on the same team "haters" and "blind optimists" alike so please respect it.

Here's a little link for the haters

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6207607...dlines;title;3

In this post Mr. Moore, explains the importance of Online play and how much it matters to Gamers and the bottom line. So all you people who have been on here hating and saying Online is not the future and it's not important and it's not a big deal. Read it, weep, and STOP HATING!!!

Oh yeah for more reading pleasure, go check out www.pastapadre.com and see his best sports game for 2008. This guy is a respected game critic and is well known in the sports gaming circle, hell even Phil himself used the guys name to validate his NFL Tour title. Pasta placed NCAA08 at the top simply because of Online Dynasty. Again Read it, Weep, and STOP HATING!!!

Look at all the hints that have been dropping about "EA sports gamers connecting like never before"!!! You think they wouldn't have let us know by now that it wouldn't be in the game? What reason do they have to hide bad news? Plus if Ian, Phil, Donny, Josn, and the rest of the crew are worth of all the praise you all have been heaping on them, they would surely be smart enough to know that in order for Madden to reach the pinnacle it must have online franchise. They got teams working on everything and they started with the base used for NCAA in order to implement Online Franchise this year, NCAA having alreay took the plunge last year allowed Madden to do it in a quicker manner.

HA HA Ian you a fool for this one mayne, Phil been dropping those hints driving some of these clowns crazy!! Not me player, game recognize game baby!!!

If I'm wrong you internet heroes, thugs, and know-everythings y'all can quote this post, put me on ignore, write off ya favorite ***** whatever you want to do, but if you believe I'm wrong PUT SOMETHING ON IT!!!

Madden 10 the best ever- put me on the bandwagon, haters stay off my tip, SIM Gamers hit me up on PS3 when it drops FunkytownKing and I'm out....

The "Internet Hero"

OK fellas we now have a new identifiable clown on the horizon, The "Internet Hero".

Have you ever been posting in a thread or started your own and got involved in a "verbal altercation" with someone when all of a sudden some random guy , usually with a low post count or having recently joined OS, starts in on you supporting the other guy with absolutely no clue about the subject of the conversation? These guys can also be spotted attacking anyone who disagrees with a developer or dares to question the developers deity status. These clowns are "Internet Heroes" they seek to quickly establish new friends or establish some rapport with the developers so they can later make posts like "So I spoke to Ian the other day" usually these clowns are quickly pushed to the side but often times can be very persistent in their recklessness.

An "Internet Hero" differs from an "Internet Thug" in that the hero usually considers himself righteous and never starts his own disagreement with you, but rather attempts to back someone else and save the day. They are somewhat less respectable than the "Thug" because at least the "Thug" has the testicular fortitude to voice his won disagreements whereas the "Hero" must try and save the day while riding on someone else's coat-tails.

As always, next time you see em point em out.

The "Internet Thug"

Posted 03-25-2009 at 01:11 PM by FadeEmAll
I get a lot of people asking me just exactly what entails an "Internet Thug" as it pertains to Operation Sports. An internet thug is defined by his ignorance in responding to other people's posts and suggestions. Disagreeing with someone doesn't make you one nor does defending yourself against someone else's reckless posts. However going onto a post and attacking someone for the wrong reason, taking offense to points that no one even made due to your inability to understand basic statements and arguments, talking $#!t about how you going to kick someone's ***, or referencing people as losers, etc. That is what makes for an "Internet Thug". Most of these clowns see someone disagreeing with someone or making light fun of something they said and launch into these 22 line posts or whatever claiming their OS and sports gaming superiority...we all know em, next time you see them point em out.

The First Screenshot

So they unveiled a new screenshot from the new Madden. While I was admit I was glad the graphics appear to be improved and many missing details were added to the game, I could not participate in the unwarranted optimism prevalent in the majority of the responder's posts.

Before you start with the "*****" **** let me explain.

First anyone with common sense can see that the screen shot is not from a game-playing angle. If this was a shot of the game in action, how the hell would the quarterback see the WR, how does the QB read the LB or find out who is open? Exactly this is a screen shot taken from a precise angle to titillate the unobservant.

Second I do admit there are some great additions in the pic. Towel, Team Color gloves, Ref, Chain Gang, and their appears to be a pocket formed around the QB. The reason I cant get too excited about any of these things is the fact that damn near all of the "new" things in the photo were present on PS2 version of the game. Plus doesn't it seem pretty weak that after 4-5 years we are getting excited about a pocket being formed in a football game. This stuff should've been in.

My conclusion is that all the screen shot proves is that the game might be finally catching up to what it is supposed to be, but it provides no evidence that it is better or exceeded expectations.
