I've had a great time these past two days playing through Creating A Legend with Rajon Rondo. In the past 2K Sports/Visual Concepts have tried to make players closer to their real life counterparts in terms of skill. Playing with Rajon Rondo has made me believe they've nailed it more than ever before this year. I've become a recent fan of coach mode-ing my way to a victory and with the new playcalling in 2K12 I was looking forward to having some more e-p-i-c coaching showdowns with my brother. I just recently found out how severely handicapped the mode is since they removed the most important feature of it, the ability to call plays for individual players. I've been trying to figure out the reason why Visual Concepts would do such a thing but I can't make sense of it.

It's not too much of a deal breaker but I usually create black characters and the hairstyles always seemed limited. I've always wondered why the hairstyles the NBA players had weren't available to created players. With 2K being able to update things like courts and tattoos for the game do you guys think 2K would be able to add in new hairstyles for 2K12?

I'm not sure if anybody else is excited for this mode but now that every NBA player is fair game to use I can't wait to get into it. I didn't really care for it last year since it was restricted to Michael Jordan (no offense). I plan on going through the mode with Rajon Rondo at first. The guy is probably my favorite point guard in the league and I can't wait to help him develop the consistent jumpshot skill he desperately needs to be an even bigger threat on the court.
