Re: Are You Losing Interest In Madden More And More Each Year?
I voted yes. What follows is a 860+ word post to explain why. You wanna skip me, I understand.

Like someone pointed out earlier - I still have interest in football gaming, hence I'm on Operation Sports - but it's my interest in Madden that is starting to fade.

I am a video game fan FIRST. I was so hardcore into Madden 10 and Madden 11, I hunted them down and got them BEFORE...

Madden 11 Demo Impressions

Posted 07-27-2010 at 05:48 PM by SeventhWard
My initial impression based on the DEMO is that Madden 11 has been improved in a few departments - but OVERALL, made WEAKER than last year's game and while some additions are nice, that Tiburon SLOPPINESS that I hate so much is back once again.

Weaker
Too much emphasis has been placed on "making the game easier" and I come away feeling like the rest of the game has suffered because of it. For the guys who like GameFlow, great. I never felt Madden needed to be...

Madden 11 Wish List

I am a gamer first and a football fan second. Having said that, I feel that Madden 10, while not 100% perfect, gave me a GREAT game of football.

Aside from the Gameplay, there are a few things I'd love to see incorporated into the next edition of Madden '11:

Graphically, Madden 10's emulation of REAL CAMERAS is something I truly love. Lens Distortion, Depth of Field and Water & Snow on the lens made for great immersion. Kudos. I'd like to see that evolve with the...

MADDEN 10 is fun. It's the most fun I've had with a football video game since Tecmo Bowl. Seriously.

No game is ever perfect, and from what I can tell they're just like films - they're never really 'finished' - you just kinda run out of time.

These are the "Little Things" I'd love the Developers of Madden 10 to clean up with their two Patches before moving on to their next project, Madden NFL 11.

The Little Things in Madden NFL 10....

From the "Little Things" thread...

The Little Things In Madden 10 That I Love:

*PRO-TAK & Speed - it feels fantastic and the animations look great. Control is great, players feel heavy, ratings feel real. Very Next-Gen.

*Procedural Awareness - not PERFECT yet in every scenario but when its happening, it's awesome.

*Cutscenes - hopefully this is something they build on and add to. It's a GREAT addition for the feel, makes Madden more...
