Re: Fight Night Round 4 Demo Impressions

I'm not impressed at all with this demo non whatsoever if I wasn't such a sucker for boxing games I wouldn't buy this game based on the demo. The game boxer movement in the ring is still stuck in the mud.

PacMan & Hatton aren't the most foot nimble of boxers so maybe that has something to do with the "gravitational pull' that Seymour described. I'm hoping it's more of what Motown is saying, but this isn't a EA shining moment. After all, don't you use the demo to promote your game?

I dont belive anything that Im hearing about this game. There are guys going around on youtube saying that Mayweather is in the game. So many lies and mixed bags. Im leaning back towards my original stance, another EA letdown.

I haven't played the demo yet but chances are it's probably the same build that we got to play. It could be 3 months old for all we know.

And while at the Event, someone else complained about the responsiveness to the controls. So a developer walked over, broke into the code, made a few tweaks and voila! It made a big difference.

I can tell you that while playing as Ali I was able to dance and move around the ring very well. His foot movement was a lot faster than a Tyson's or Haglars, I can tell you that.

The demo's going to be good to get people used to the controls, graphics, etc. It's a glorified commercial. I'd like to play the full version before passing judgment on this game.
