    Tips legacy mode offline

I have started a new boxer in legacy mode, pro level, and in my first 8 fight I won 4 and lost 4, won-lost-lost-won-lost-won-won-lost, all decision, but in my 8. fight a got a heavy beating by a outside puncher type, my boxer was now ranked 45 - it was pretty bad!!

But after that I began to master some of the mini games/traningsessions and in my next 4 fights I won all on KO, my last fight was very close match my boxer led by one point after 7 rounds, and got the KO in the 10. round, so year 2013 was a good season with a record 4-0 and 4 KO :-)

My boxer have right now OVR = 87 after 12 fights and Ranked 33.

I found out that I needed to be champion in at least one traning session, so I get a good allround boost - I have been using most of the times "open sparring" and "close the window" session ( I think the session was called). I have learned to be champion in 3 diffent traning sessions.

My Traning camp look like this:
    Week 1 - Spar
    Week 2 - Rest
    Week 3 - Spar
    Week 4 - Rest

    Re: Tips legacy mode offline

I had two more fights last night with two more KO, one in the 10. against a ranked 27 and one in the 7. round against a ranked 28.

So my record is now 10-4-0 with 6 KO, but my boxer is only ranked 30

My boxer is now OVR = 90

so in the two training camp between the two fight I had almost the same result
    week 1 traning = contenter
    week 2 rest
    week 3 traning = champion
    week 4 rest

I had finally time to play some more Fight Night Champion

My boxer name is Tom “ICEMAN” Sullivan

In the next couple of fights I tried to find Sullivan boxing style, I found out that I was very poor to moving his head, so I used his jab and tried to keep his distance and scored enough point to win the rounds.

I also very careful with his stamina and never started a dogfight, but tried to move around and use his jab, and step to one side and use combos, and use power punch if my opponent tried to get inside, if the timing was right my opponent will get stunned

Sullivans next 3 fights, he won them all on KO in the late rounds, the next 4 weeks training camp, I accepted a EVENT with one of the champions and Sullivan had a perfect sparring and got 1200 XP point, in open sparring Sullivan got 800 XP point = total 2000 XP Point for 4 weeks training – not bad :-), I will not try to accept a EVENT in the first and last week during training camp, these two weeks is for rest

Sullivan also won the next fight on KO and was now ranked 19 with a record 14-4 with 10 KO.

The 19. fight was also Sullivan first ESPN FIGHT Night match, it was against Miguel Cotto , ranked 16, he was now on his way down the ranking after a couple of losses.
Sullivan started very good and Cotto got stunned in the 2. round, but got over it, after the 3. round Cotto left eye was closed, but Cotto was a warrior and came back, but in the 9. Round Cotto got knock down 3 times before he finally got sent to sleep.

Sullivan was now a Contender on the legacy ladder.

Sullivan last fight was against a boxer ranked 13 and it was a very close fight going into the 7. round, where Sullivan knock down his opponent twice and in the 10. round he close the show with a new KO.

Tom “ICEMAN” Sullivan record is now 16-4 with 12 KO and he is now ranked 8.

When I scheduled the next fight I look at the injury period, after Sullivan last fight the injury period was 10 weeks, so he need at least 14 weeks for Sullivan to get ready for his next fight

          Thanks!

My main focus with the earned XP Point is

          1. Jab
          2. Chin
          3. Straight
          4. Blocking
          5. Heart
          6. Combination

Although I expect that all my fights going all the way, my boxer have won the last 12 fights all on KO after the 7. round

If you use the jab and straight mostly, try a counter puncher. XP is cheap on everything except body punches and head hooks. Chin, haed movement, block, heart, and combos are are cheap as well as the jab/straight. After one fight with decent traing you could have a jab/straight/uppercut @ 7-10 easy.

              Okay, thanks

In total I have only played these 20 fights in legacy mode/pro, so I am learning during every fight.

Last night I tried the new patch offline (I am only playing offline) and I had to say that I like the game more before the patch, so I uninstalled the patch and had two more great fights.

The first one I won on point after I have my opponent knock down in 9. and 10. round. But in Sullivan last fight, against Victor Ortiz ranked 7, he got in big trouble, lost the first 3 rounds and was behind 65-68 after the 7. round, but Sullivan came back and knock down his opponent in the 10. round and won 10.round 10-8, and Sullivan got home with a draw.

Sullivans recored is 17-4-1 and 12 KO

I just had a rematch against Victor Ortiz and the injury period started by the end of year 2016 and when the traning camp was finish in the begining of year 2017, my bower Sullivan ranking was changed from 7 up to 4, I think it was because some of the older fighters was retried.

In the rematch my boxer Sullivan moved better round in the ring and used his jab and scored enough point to win first 3 round, but Ortiz came back. Sullivan was in front going into last round. in 10. round Sullivan knocked Ortiz down and won a point decision by all 3 judges.´

After this win Sullivan was now ranked 3, with a record 18-4-1 with 12 KO, and suddenly he got a shot of the Welterweight title

                    Had my first title fight

But my boxer Sullivan went down after a perfect hit in the first round he came up again, but lost the first 3 round. Sullivan won the next couple of rounds, but in the 7. Round he was knocked down again and never came up

It was totally okay that Sullivan lost that fight, I still have a lot to learn.

My manager asked Sullivan to take an easy fight against a lower ranked boxer to get back on track, but I decided to take on Sugar Ray Leonard ranked 2

This time Sullivan was ready from the start and was in front after the first 3 round, even he got one of his eyes totally closed he stay ahead and won the fight on points after 10 very hard rounds . I just love this game (without the patch)

Sullivan can now decide for himself which one of 3 welterweight champions he like to fight

Last night my Boxer Sullivan had a new title fight, in trainning camp before the fight I when back to Philadelphia gym because they had a session called “Close the show” it only cost 4000$

I don’t know if it helped Sullivan to knocking down some one down in training, but in the title fight he connected with perfect right hand in the 2. Round and the champion when down and never came up.

Sullivan was now new welterweight champion.

It was the 3. Fight where Sullivans Jab and straight had max XP points but it was the first KO win.

In the next fight I decided to defend the title against an outside puncher ranked 6 (last time a meeting with this type of boxer was in the 8. Fight and Sullivan lost big)

In this fight Sullivan came quickly in big trouble and he was again hit again and againt at the outside, Sullivan had to get inside, a difficult task he began after the 4. round. Sullivan lost the first 5 rounds, but in the 6. Round Sullivan found some hope when he knocked down the challenger, but he came up again.

Sullivan began gradually to find rhythm in his new style and in 10. Round Sullivan connected with super right hand and the challenger got knocked out.

Sullivan record is now 21-5-1, 14 KO with one belt

Last night I just had time to one fight in FNC and I decided to take on Thomas Hearns, one of 3 welterweight champions (my boxer Sullivan, Hearns and Mendez, Sullivan was Knock down by Mendez in the his first title fight).

I knew that I had to take the fight inside because of Hearns long reach, so Sullivan started aggressive, he lost the 1. Round 10-9, but Hearns was shaken just before the bell finished the first round.

In the 2. Round Sullivan connected with the most amazing right hand on Hearns jaw, he never saw the punch, Hearns went down and the fight was over.

WOW , what a punch and now Sullivan have two belts and a record of 22-5-1 with 15 KO

The next fight will be an official challenge against the no. 2 ranked fighter.

Sullivan won his title defense when he knocked down his opponent (ranked no. 2) in the 3. round.

After that fight I had hoped that Sullivan could get a rematch against Mendez, but was going to fight Hearns (ranked no. 1) so Sullivan made a voluntarily title defense and that fight ended in the 5. Round with a new knock down.

Mendez had won his fight against Hearns, and he was now ready for a fight against Sullivan, the winner would get all 3 belts in welterweight.

Sullivan had a very good training camp and was top fit for his super title fight against Mendez.

Mendez started aggressive and Sullivan tried to get inside, Mendez won the 1. Round 10-9. In the 2. Round Mendez was knocked down, but came up again. In the 4. Round it was Sullivan turn to go down. It was a very even fight going out to 7. Round.
Then in a situation where the two fighters stood head to head, Sullivan connected a right hand to Mendez face. At first I did not see anything special, but then the camera changed and Mendez got shaky, then his legs collapsed under him and Mendez went down on the floor, the fight was over and

Sullivan was now the only welterweight champion with a record 25-5-1 and 18 KO +3 belts

The next step is to clean up the welterweight class of ex-champions and explain them that it is time to retire

Sullivan next fight was a mandatory title bout was against Barrallero (ex-champion), last meeting was in Sullivan 2. title match were he won in the 2. round.

I expected an easy fight, but I was wrong. It was SUPER battle both fighters were shaken several times, after the 7. Round Barrallero had a one point lead.
In the 8. Round Barrallero was knocked down, but came up. Now Sullivan was in front on point and in 11. Round Barrallero was knocked down again, but he came up again.
In the last round of this title fight the referee stop the bout because Barrallero was cut several times in his face and his eyes was closed
Sullivan won the fight on TKO.

After the match, Sullivan manager asks him to take a challenge in middleweight against Fabio ranked 4. This fight was very interesting.

Sullivan was behind on point during the match and Sullivan could not knock Fabio down, but in the 8. Round the referee stopped the fight, because both of Fabio eyes was almost full closed, I could only see some white in his eyes. Sullivan won again on TKO.

After that fight Sullivan decided to move from welterweight, and drop his 3 belts, up to middleweight

Sullivan record is now 27-5-1 with 20 KO

Sullivan was beginning to train for his first middleweight title fight and in the two trainings session I find out that Sullivan was being more precise, in “open sparring” Sullivan scored 90.000 point and his sparring was knock down several times without power punches.

It seems that Middleweight fighter had more stamina, so Sullivan new tactic was to get to inside throw combination of jabs, straights and then step out again.

In the first title fight it took some time to get use to the new tactic, but after a couple of rounds the new tactic was “deadly” and champion was flying on his back and the fight was soon over.

Next fight Sullivan has to defend his new tile against Jake Lamotta, but again the new tactic was again “deadly” and Sullivan won on KO.

The next 3 fights was won all on KO and Sullivan had now all 3 belts in middleweight with a record 32-5-1 and 25 KO
