I'm loving it, I think that it's almost perfect. Great update.

Well Dave, wherever you are--- I decided to give it another shot, and after some adjustments, I'm actually really liking the game again. I'm just using a lot less power-modified shots, and really using my angles, footwork, and my jab a lot more. It's taking some getting used to with the upping of the stamina and the tweaking of the power, but I'm getting it down.

Yeah, I hate that they upped stamina, but at the same time, these spammers can still wear themselves out and make themselves vulnerable.

I fought a body spammer last night where every time we got close, he would just crouch down and start a machine-gun spam to the body. After a few times of this, I started backing up every time he attempted it thereafter, simply moving out of the way so he wouldn't feel any sense of reward.

Meanwhile, I would stick and move, try to use my jab, try to throw punches judiciously, etc. By the eighth round I had scored 3 flash KD, finally keeping him down on the third one.

It appears as though the spamming still wears them down (especially if they miss), but just not as quick as it did before.

Sounds good. It's not perfect but there are some good things in the latest update.

Another thing that someone else mentioned and I notice is the scorecards don't honor a jab spammer. I fought a guy on Friday that threw (no lie) over 900 jabs. He lost every round.

I had to send him a message afterwads, "You should really throw more jabs."
