FNC is currently playable and moddable on PC and pretty much all the responses I've gotten back on several forums is "where can I download those CABs". Guys like me are not going to stick around and create for leech communities. You I think were the only one trying to actually help do something and I appreciate your effort.

Anyways, I do sincerely hope this game delivers on its promises, I am really eager to see some gameplay action.

I think the prob w modding fnc is that it was on an emulator. So it was a very niche medium. I think a new game optimized for pc will get a lot of people excited, if it’s good.

I stopped trying to mod fnc because it just kept crashing. And even when it worked, it wasn’t playing the same as on my ps3.

I am waiting for this game to let me down.

Through no fault of their own, I just have been waiting WAY too long for a boxing game and I can't imagine any game meeting that hype.

Fans are holding an indie company to the standards of major AAA companies with billions at their disposal. I respect what Steel City is doing.

I highly doubt this game will be worse than FNC. At the least it will be as good. Although its an indie studio, FNC is almost 10 years old. With access to better tech that can help streamline game making (Unreal Engine 4), a small studio can get more done than it could 10 years ago.

The graphics have also been outsourced to a studio that has worked on AAA games. With 2+ years of development, increased use of patches and DLC, I believe this will be a good game. Its also releasing on PC first, which will probably be more of a beta version, before it hits consoles.

We'll most likely see a finished product mid-late 2021. I highly optimistic about what that finished product can be.

I see something I'm very concerned with as a gamer that likes offline/personal game modes.

"Online play is certainly at the forefront of Steel City's ambitions with the buzzing eSports market evidently integral to their plans."

So then how do you explain people modding Skate, NCAA14, RDR and TLOU on the same emulator? Its also worth noting the problems you experienced aren't shared by everybody. The game is playable on PC and night and day in terms of performance. I have actually finally retired the PS3 which was used to play one game (FNC) over the last 5 years.

To me the problem here is obvious, we don't have a community like the fanbases of those games I mentioned. I remember when FNC first released someone created a forum for CABs and we only had like 3 people contributing. So this lack of enthusiasm from a creator standpoint isn't just due to a lack of boxing games recently. Its always been like this.

I also want to mention, the fact there are threads of people trying to sell CAB roster updates on here is really disgusting. We need to get rid of clowns like that and inspire a community effort. I tried to do the latter and unfortunately it seems like I failed.

Yes, I created that site. It was called Fight Night Creations. I think a website would do great because fans were starved so long for a boxing videogame.

Thank you for bringing this up. I never seen that thread until I read your post.

People like that need to be banned and removed from any community. What a joke to try and sell what isn’t even his work.

I think if the boxing community was bigger at the moment, that guy would be out in a heartbeat.
