NoleFan's Madden10 Coach Mode Franchise...

This won't be any long drawn out thing. Most likely, a place for me to document games played. I may give a little blurb about the game etc but you know....

Starting Team: St. Louis Rams
Qtr Length: 11 Min, 15-sec Run Off
Player Skill: MySkill
CPU Skill: All 50s
Speed: Normal, 50 Threshold

2009 Pre-Season

We went up 10-0 early but was outscored 17-3 to go into the half down 17-13. The Jets added 6 more in the 3rd qtr to go up 23-13 before we exploded for 13 points in the 4th to get the win. Neither one of us mustered ANY ground game but both QBs were pretty efficient save for Sanchez's 2 interceptions.

2009 Preseason

The game was only 3 plays in before Atlanta jumped up 7-0 on a 71-yd strike from Matt Ryan to Tony Gonzalez. It would take the bulk of the 1st qtr for St. Louis to finally get into position to get their first score and bring it to 7-3, Falcons, with 2:05 remaining.

In the 2nd qtr Josh Brown added a 52-yd FG with 4:07 to play and a 34-yd FG with 0:39 to go into the half with the score a 9-7, Rams.

The 3rd qtr saw St. Louis finally get the ball into the endzone when CB Jonathan Wade returned an interception 66 yds for the score with 5:49 to play. They'd score again with 1:25 to go when Kyle Boller connected with Brooks Foster for a 5-yd touchdown. The score heading into the 4th qtr was 23-7, Rams.

Atlanta began mounting what looked like a comeback, scoring a touchdown 2 minutes into the 4th qtr when Chris Redman connected with Roddy White on a 39-yd pass. The conversion failed but that brought the score to 23-13, Rams. Both defenses stood tall for the next 4:00+ until the Rams allowed the Falcons to get into position for a 50-yd Jason Elam FG to bring the count to 23-16, Rams. Both teams traded punts and the Falcons forced another getting the ball back with just under 2:00 to play. Their comeback effort was stuffed when Chris Redman's pass was tipped, intercepted and returned for a touchdown by the Rams' Cliff Ryan. The score brought the game to 30-16, Rams and that is our final here from St. Louis.

2009 Pre-Season

This was a back and forth game that the Rams appeared to have in the bag. Cincinnati had other plans though as they put together a masterful drive late to go up 27-26 with 0:25 to play. All the Rams needed was a FG but they had quite a ways to go to get it. WR Derek Stanley caught only his second pass of the game and boy was it a big one. Boller and Stanley hooked up for a 63-yd gain that put Josh Brown in position for a VERY makable 22-yd FG with 0:04 left on the clock. Brown did, in fact, make the FG to put the Rams up 29-27. The Bengals lone play following the FG was an incomplete pass.

Won the final pre-season game 26-14. Was trying to access the game stats from outside the game but since the pre-season was over I couldn't so there will be no fancy graphic for this game. I hope to start the regular season soon.

2009 Regular Season - Week 1

Rams @ Seahawks

With Stephen Jackson out 11 weeks Samkon Gado is forced into the starting role and he played well for us in Game 1. Bulger's 3 interceptions likely cost us but to say we turned it over 3 times to their 0, a 3 point loss looks good for our future success. Actually, 2 of Bulger's interceptions were returned for scores so removing those mistakes and we win this game easily.

I played this game with dfo's theory about MySkill with CPU Skill at 70. I liked the results save for the cpu qb's high comp%.
