Re: Change in Houston-The Coaching Career of Michael Smith

2011 Season-Game 10-Texans 37, Patriots 17

The scoring seemed more in line with this set, so I'll go with it for a while. I actually fell behind by 3 early in the 2nd half, and got a request to pull my starter Payne. I kept him in, and he pulled off the comeback.

I got Superb Strategist after the game to capstone the Training tree. It increases your HC's Strategy rating by 2, all others by 1(unless you have 5 potential in strategy, than it's 2), and increases the potential of all skills by 1-all this for 17,000 points

CU-HC-Superb Strategist, STC-Phys Dev P 4, QBC-Perf 5, Team Chem 4, WRC-Int Dev TE 4.

Good to see you again Edward. Yes, undefeated is a real possibility in the regular season this year, even playing in the AFC South. As for the playoffs, the Giants almost beat me in the Super Bowl last year. I'll hedge my bets a little, but I think we stand a good chance to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

2011 Season-Game 11-Texans 42, Titans 28

We continued our winning ways with a hard fought win against the Titans, but this one came with a price. Darren McFadden separated his shoulder, and will miss the rest of the reg season most likely. I can't say the Titans really played that well, but they definitely managed to come up with a few big plays in this one.

CU-OC-Lrn Dev OL 4, LBC-Blitz Discipline

INJ-HB Darren McFadden, seperated shoulder, 5 weeks.

Re: Change in Houston-The Coaching Career of Michael Smith

It's good to be back and I have faith u will win another SB...

It sucks losing Mcfadden, but its look as if Mercer didn't miss a beat with his 26 car 106 yds 2 td performance... Guess as long as Payne dosen't get hurt then u shouldn't miss Mcfadden very much...

Btw, been aiming to get old head coach down and dust it off for some time, but with all of the great games coming out it's been a pain to get back into it... Hopefully this new year I'll get a little time before DMC comes out...

2011 Season-Game 12-Texans 73, Falcons 0

It didn't feel this bad of a loss when I played it. The strange thing is that the Falcons had a huge advantage in time of possession, they simply didn't do anything with the opportunities the way I did.

The one play that stood out to me, the defensive TD by DT Duane Russell. I can't believe no offensive players could catch up to a DT with 50 speed, but he did have a big head start.

2011 Season-Game 13-Texans 48, Broncos 7

The Broncos started things off with a INT TD on the 1st play of the game, and that was it for their offense the rest of the game. We suffered another injury in this game however, Bender got injured but might be back for the last game of the regular season. We also clinched the division after the game.

2011 Season-Game 14-Texans 44, Saints 13

The Saints played such good defense the 1st Half, but not so much in the 2nd half. Some of it was my pass rush really taking a big step forward in the 2nd Half. Unfortunately, Andre Johnson got hurt during the week, but we have clinched homefield throughout the playoffs.
