Re: Baltimore Beat Down: A Baltimore Ravens Dynasty (HC09)

Brad Johnson's still playing? LOL! I usually always see him retire - so he's like 39, 40 and starting! Good for him! Sorry you lost though. Roydell's been a STUD for you the last 3 games, doesn't look like he's getting much help though. Manningham, Clayton and Williams better step it up! Did you flip your depth chart around? Noticed Clayton and Williams looked like they were starting till the last couple games, or at least they were the only one producing.

Yes. Brad Johnson is still playing. So are Michael Strahan and Jonathan Ogden. Redoing the draft causes wonky things to happen in the alternate universe. The fact that Brad Johnson is starting for the Bears speaks to their terrible QB situation. Losing to a Brad Johnson helmed team hurt. It was their first win of the season.

Roydell has been a stud. I picked him up after Demetrius Williams went down with an injury. My starting receivers were Manningham and D. Williams. Manningham lined up at flanker (Z) and D. Williams lined up at split end (X). Clayton was my slot guy. When D. Williams went down, I moved Friday into the starting lineup at split end (X) and R. Williams moved into the slot. Clayton didn't move to split end because he lacks top end speed. He lost the slot position because R. Williams is better at making catches in traffic. Smith targets him a lot and he's able to hold onto the ball after nasty collisions. I like his production but I'm upset that Smith constantly checks down to R. Williams instead of trying to hit the deep threats on the outside.
