Last Tuesday, the UT-Arlington Mavericks played the Baylor Bears at Clay Gould Ballpark. The Mavericks scored three runs in the ninth to beat the Bears 5-4. If anybody is interested, the scorecard for the game is located in the spoiler.

The Mavericks have a tough road ahead, with two road weekend series'. This weekend, they will be at Lamar University (famous for famous douche Kevin Millar). They will also play Tuesday at Dallas Baptist, not ten miles away. The Mavericks are in eighth place (11-7(1-2)) in Southland Conference play going into weekend play.

ESPNU will be showing the FSU/Virginia series this weekend, Sat: 8pm, Sun: 2pm, Mon: 7pm. Just a heads up for those not watching some CBB tourney.

Kentucky walked off USCe, remains the only undefeated team in DI


and in Baton Rouge, both starters combined for 28 K's

Man, LSU is TERRIBLE in close games as of late. I don't know what it is.

The Arlington Mavericks beat the Lamar Cardinals tonight 7-5. A couple of errors and a HBP on Preston Beck helped the Mavs gain the lead, and they came back in the ninth to finish it out.
