Re: Regional Round

Went to Arizona and Louisville last night. Thankfully it didn't start until 8 so the weather was tolerable. Louisville and New Mexico State played in 106 that first day when they had to play at 4. Game didn't end till 11:30, but that was fine, I don't have to go to work until 10 today. Arizona won 16-3, Louisville was basically shot from the first game. They used an OF to pitch in the 6th and 7th innings. I was wondering if they were out of pitchers, but he was pretty decent. The 6 errors didn't help much, and the scorer was kind. It was more like 8, possibly 9. He awarded some hits to Arizona late just to avoid giving them more errors. I would think Arizona should be hosting super regionals against St. John's, but the radio announcer seemed to tell us we had to wait for an announcement today, but I can't think of a reason Arizona would have to go out there.

So we have: (barring any creativity from the NCAA)
North Carolina State/Vanderbilt @ Florida
Oklahoma(needs to sweep doubleheader)/Appalachian State @ South Carolina
Kent State @ Oregon
Dallas Baptist @ Arkansas or Arkansas @ Baylor
TCU/Mississippi @ UCLA
Central Florida/Stony Brook @ Louisiana State
St. John's @ Arizona
Stanford @ Florida State
