And to make things worse, Alex Bregman collided with Raph Rhymes on a pop out that was all Rhyme's. Rhymes needed stitches and Bregman has a concussion. Oh, by the way, LSU's #3 starter was suspended for the regionals via a violation of team rules!

Good win today, puts them in a good position to be able to make it to the Super Regionals. Not sure what to expect from them if the get that far, but I agree it's a solid season if they get that far given everything

UNC just dodged a 1 out bases loaded bullet vs. Cainsius, up 4-3 and VT are down to their last 2 outs with the tying run at the plate vs. the 4 seed UConn

edit: VT goes down and now UNC has 1st and 3rd with no outs bottom 8

Indiana just walked it off vs. Valpo 5-4, scoring 3 in the 9th including the homer to end it

Indiana avoided what would have been a hugely disappointing loss to Valparaiso by scoring 4 runs in the ninth with 2 of the runs coming on a walk off to win 5-4. The Valpo closer coming into the game had only gave up 1 earned run during the season before giving up 4 tonight.

So, Indiana faces Austin Peay and Florida and Valparaiso play in the elimination game tomorrow.
