Tennessee brings down the hammer on Bruce Pearl..

The biggest argument I have against him is that he's one of these guys that you always hear stuff about. Whether its with his programs, or his players, etc, the stuff never comes quite back to him, but you know that if all the info was out there, or the right person came forward, it would. Maybe he's lucky, maybe he really is this innocent (I seriously doubt it), but the guy is teflon as far as I'm concerned.

How come everytime a coach gets in trouble that schools fans end up in an argument on these boards with UK fans?

Because when it comes to College Basketball, they are easily the worst fans out there. They are exactly like Florida or Alabama fans in football, insufferable, ridiculously hard to talk to, grating, condescending, need I go on?

The kicker is that I want Pearl gone, so even though I take that extreme opinion amongst Vols fans, these UK fans still wanna argue.

So an innocent debate turns into you slinging mud. That's great. Thanks for all the compliments. Hopefully the UK fans that post here, who are usually quite complimentary of intelligent conversations, don't stoop down to your level because those comments can certainly turn this thread ugly very quickly.

Did you miss the wink? Don't take things so seriously, that wasn't a personal insult, just an observation, lighthearted I might add, as to what I've noticed about UK fans when talking about CBB.

Bruce needs to be gone and will be within the next couple of months. I mentioned that this would be happening about three weeks ago right before our first football game in the football forums. I have also been told that what has become public knowledge of the situation is only the tip and more bad news and violations will be made public in the near future. Funny how Bruce supporters bought the crying bit and the "coming clean" act of pearl, but I only saw it as fessing up after you had been caught situation. I dont care if this buries the basketball program as long as the important part of UT athletics isnt touched. Pearl cheated and then lied to the AA, he should be gone along with AD Mike Hamilton IMO.

in this instance its because a UK fan introduced Calipari to the thread. The thread was purely about Pearl up to that point. Not sure why the need to introduce Cal to the thread, except so that they can well....see whats going on?
