How has Jaylen Johnson looked? Haven't been able to watch Louisville very much this season and he just graduated from my school last year. Hope he doesn't look too bad, I know he's raw.

The talent/skills are there but he's still adapting to the college game and also to Pitino's style of basketball. He will play sparingly this season but I expect he will have a tremendous Sophomore season.

Looks like Maryland is going to pull off the upset over Iowa State

I wonder if the Beilein infinite timeout strategy will catch on

****ing terrible choke job by Michigan. Bielfeldt and Donnal are horrible. Not confident about this team at all this year.

Re: 11/24-11/30 Game Discussion Thread

I saw the last 12 minutes of the Nova Michigan game and what a fun game; great crowd and great energy. Michigan came back and Nova responded. I thought Nova shot too many 3s and wasn't feeding Ofechu and Pinkston enough but they did it just enough to get by. Ofechu seems to be more comfortable now, he made a couple good moves and made a great pass out of the double team for the Arcidicano 3. Pinkston block on the baseline out of bounds play was unbelievable. That block and Boatright block from the West Virginia game were the 2 best blocks, I've seen this season.

It's always interesting to see how teams develop over the course of the season. These two teams look pretty good and I expect both to be in the tournament. Last year, Michigan lost to Charlotte in Puerto Rico at this time of the season so they should be fine.

I haven't been able to post much but the teams that have really impressed me are Kentucky, Duke, Wisconsin and Gonzaga. I expect Arizona to be really difficult to beat by the end of the year as they should be able to lock teams down. Tomorrow game vs San Diego State should be interesting and add another chapter to a brewing West Coast rivalry.

Louisville plays Cleveland State tonight. Thank goodness this is the last game of this "Global Showcase" or whatever its called.

I know smaller schools need the money and bigger schools need the practice/wins, but could we at least space them out a little more?
