Re: 2009 USC Trojans

I heard this week on the radio that Mitch Mustain is going to get a lot of PT this year...he's going to be holding for PAT's. What a horrible decision by that kid to transfer...he'll never take a meaningful snap at USC.

So Wright is out for the year, Johnson is out for at least a month or two, and their starting center is questionable for the OSU game.

Ouch

Pretty sure Barkely started from his freshmen year in HS too.

Seems to me that they just want him to be a young Big Ben or Flacco of last year and hold on to the ball, let the D do it's thing, dominate possession and take advantage of the great starting field position.

He was also the first freshman to ever start at Mater Dei. A perennial national power, who put out big time QB after big time QB, (Matt Leinart and Colt Brennan for example)

Wasn't it Carson Palmer whose records Barkley broke at Mater Dei?

Colt Brennan was about as good of a HS QB as there has been and was a prolific passer at the next level.

Mater Dei on an annual basis can play with anyone in the nation at the HS level.
