Re: Baylor Bears

After that win at Wake, I expect Baylor to roll UCONN and go 4-0 out of conference.

Re: Baylor Bears

Yeah 4-0 should be the record after the UConn game. Although the UConn game is not a gimmie.

if Baylor defeats UConn they will have beating the two teams that gave them two losses in non-conference last year.

I think the only Big 12 games that are not winnable are OU, Oklahoma St and Texas.

Crazy thing was - Griffin didn't have a "big game" yet they still won.

Re: Baylor Bears

Nice win for Baylor. I'm hoping you guys can win at least 7 games and make a bowl this season. There aren't many teams aside from WVU that I cheer for, but I've always found myself pulling for Baylor for some reason. This isn't a knock on you guys or anything, but I think it's because I've always liked playing dynasties with them on NCAA Football. Texas is a fun state to recruit in and it's challenging for a few seasons to try and build them into a powerhouse. Guess I'm going to have to find another team to use now since Baylor's talent level is getting better each year now.

Re: Baylor Bears

HUGE game tomorrow versus UConn. If Baylor wins, they should be 4-0 heading into Oklahoma in a few weeks.

I had Baylor as my sleeper team in the Big XII to possibly shake things up a bit. I see them going 4-0 into OU, beating ISU, and A&M to get to that 6 win mark.

I would not be surprised if this team won 7 games.

This loss hurts. A huge blow to their bowl hopes.

Re: Baylor Bears

They looked horrible. Don't let the score full you. It wasn't close.

Re: Baylor Bears

Well hopefully Blake Syzmanski can lead the way. He was a starter two years ago as a sohpmore and played well at times, but also played awful at times. They didn't have the talent on offense like they do now and it was under a horrible offensive cord in Lee Hayes. I'm sure Coach Briles will figure something out. Thing is, Syzmanski got hurt in Saturdays game as well and they had to burn a redshirt with QB Nick Florence. They may have to burn one with Brody Traham this week.

I still have hope for the season. I think after the Iowa St game (in 3 weeks) we should be able to tell what this team is capable of.

Next three games look like this
vs. Kent St
@ Oklahoma
@ Iowa St.
