Week 6 Discussion

Kentucky’s defense came to play. Now if the offense and special teams can stop shooting themselves in the foot.

Offense seems to be settling down now with the freshman backup.

And there’s Sheron’s first TD pass.

Couldn't believe how Florida St ended that game. I get the kicker is shaky. But he's well in range gotta trust him. Not throw a interception. That throw was so bad too. Didn't even give his wr a play.

Fg wins it and they pulled that trash lol

The kicker sucks and shouldn't have a job still but for some reason they won't move on from him. They wouldn't even kick extra points last week. It was another stupid play call for a night full of them. Coaching was terrible, Travis was bad, and the WRs didn't help anything.

Re: Week 6 Discussion

A few close-ish calls, but we finally have a week without a top 10 team going down. Chaos averted?

A few takeaways from the week.

-Georgia is not the #2 team in the country. When all is said and done they may not be top 5. I expect them to drop at minimum, 1 game in their final stretch against Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky & Miss State. Whatever progression that Stetson showed in the first 2 games (one of those against a FCS school) this season vs last year was apparently fools gold. For the last 4 weeks he has looked exactly like the talent challenged QB that we saw all of last year, but there is not an all-time great defense to bail him out this year. Georgia's starting QB has failed to throw a single touchdown pass in 3 consecutive games.

-Jahmyr Gibbs is good. Really good. His talent was wasted at GT. I hope that Young is healthy next week though. It would be a shame to see that Bama-Tenn game with 1 team playing with such a handicap (Milroe has been a phenomenal runner, but it's obvious that the passing part of his game isn't there yet).

-Tennessee is dangerous. That offense is legit, and their defense played well today. I could very easily see them winning the SEC East this year (I'd put the as the favorites to do so at this point), which if they get go 1-1 against Alabama that scenario then they are probably a playoff team. Kind of crazy how quickly they have turned that thing around.

-I don't think that there is any team in the Big10 that can challenge Ohio State. For my money, they look like the #1 team at this point, and I have not seen anything to make me think that they will struggle with Michigan at the end of the season.

-USC/OU is definitely the class of the Pac12, but UCLA does look good as well. It never really felt like they were in trouble against Utah.

Re: Week 6 Discussion

How bad is Kentucky’s offensive line?

South Carolina came into the game with 4 sacks in five games.

They had five tonight.
