Re: Conference Championship Discussion

Saban using Bryce Young’s injury as a reason Alabama lost to Tennessee is absurd. Young was the reason they were in that game.

Re: Conference Championship Discussion

The four in are UGA, UM, TCU, OSU.

Bama at #5 and Tenn #6. I wonder what would have happened if USC didn't lose in a blowout fashion to slide down like that

If OSU can get their guys back, that game against UGA could get interesting

Yeah but if he hadn't been injured, they would've scored 70!

Re: Conference Championship Discussion

I think the committee got it right.

Didn't punish TCU for losing (in OT) a conference championship game after sweeping through said conference during the regular season.

You can certainly make a case against Ohio State getting in, but who are you putting in over them? Everybody else has two losses. Alabama's losses are better than Ohio State's loss, but Bama doesn't have the wins OSU has. Tennessee does have better wins, but worse losses. Clemson has a conference title, but it got blown out by a team Ohio State beat.

Would require Georgia and Michigan to hold serve, TCU to lose, and the committee to pick Alabama over TCU. Final rankings would be Georgia #1, Michigan #2, Ohio State #3, and Alabama #4. Definitely plausible.

Pessimism works in these situations since you can never be disappointed lol.

Agree I have no problem with what is happening.
