My, how the mighty have fallen. Four 1 loss teams right outside the Top 4, and Alabama is the lowest ranked of those four. I was afraid going to a 12 team playoff wasn't going to be interesting, but if its as bunched up with unbeaten and 1 loss teams next year like it is now, I may have to rethink my stance on only needing a four team playoff.

I'll put the full rankings up later after I wake up (lovely night shift working), but I wanted to give a quick preview.

For the first time since the inception of the CFP, the BCS did not agree with the four teams the CFP selected.

1. Michigan (.9844)
2. Washington (.9611)
3. Florida State (.8709)
4. Texas (.8696)
5. Alabama (.8663)
6. Georgia (.8010)

That's how close it would've come between Florida State, Texas, and Alabama....46 ten-thousandths of a point separating the three teams.

I think I know which one you are referring to.

I use Sagarin's blended model, which combines all three of his models because it's the first one listed and provides the order in which the teams are listed. I believe they use one of his specific models, and I just haven't nailed down which one.
