What is the 5 second rule?

CPU got 3 goaltending calls on me in 2 games last night, for what it's worth.

Hmmm... I wonder if that is an XBox PS2 thing.

I guess I should say I have never seen the CPU get goaltending called on them.

And they have goaltended.

I posted several days ago about a play that went like this:

My PF crashed in and put up a shot that clanked off the rim. It went straight up in the air. The CPU player jumped up and snagged the ball and then when he came down with it the ball went through the rim and even made the net billow up and yet I was not given two points nor the goaltending ruling.

I just happened to be down by 4 with under two minutes to go.

No big deal.

That is the most blatant abuse I have seen by the CPU but I have only seen it that one time.

I've seen the computer get it's fairshare of goaltends, and they were legit not cheap ones.

OK, then I just haven't seen it yet.

I wonder why it wasn't called on that play? I know I have it turned on because it gets called on me.

I saw two goaltends by the cpu last night (xbox)...I've seen some cpu charging calls also....using the face up button as previously mentioned. I use that in NBA 2k3 also to draw a few charges here and there.
