Picked up Lindy's and Steele yesterday. Only halfway through Lindy's. I think they are good compliments.

Picked up Lindy's from Barnes and Noble. The poor binding caused some pages to fall out soon after i bought it but glue does wonders

Steele is way more respected then Lindy. I would honestly pick up a copy of both and see which one you like more. I prefer Lindys.

I need to get my hands on these magazines. I usually have them by now haha.

Lindy's just looked more visually appealing, easy to read, that's why i chose it.

I love Phil Steele's. But yeah, it is a hard read at first. Tons of numbers and stats which are great for numbers geeks like me. He also uses countless abbreviations that although he includes a glossary, does take a little getting use to.

Ya, without that glossary I'd be pretty lost. I bought Dave Campbell's Texas Football two weeks ago at Wal-Mart, the Athlon Big 12 preview at Crocker Barrel last week, and the Phil Steele CFB 2012 preview at Wal-Mart this past week.

I wish I had gotten the Athlon full-NCAA preview instead of just the Big 12 (with a small CUSA section - I figure P12 gets MWC and WAC, ACC gets Big East, B10 gets MAC, SEC gets SBC), but I enjoy their write-ups on the teams and the articles they write on particular teams' situations - Bill Snyder's second run at K-State, OkSt's rise with T. Boone's money, WVU and TCU coming up in conferences. I want to check out Lindy's, I suppose, but Phil Steele's projections are so accurate he's got me thinking FSU may indeed be in Miami at the end of the season, though I'm thinking less and less of OU as their line keeps getting dinged-up.
