Has this ever happen to you in game?

CPU will go for it on 4th down when they have about 10 or more yards to go and they are WINNING???? What the hell?

It depends on how much they are winning by because if im beating the cpu by like 30 and its 4th I will ask corso and he will tell me to go for it I guess they figure they have nothing to lose so why not go for it.

This happens to me when the CPU is Winning and they still go for it on 4th down when they could have punted or went for a field goal.

I think the cpu occasionally takes crack.

I've seen it run a fake punt run on 4th and 28 (I was ahead by 14 with 6 min to play). Also, cpu tried a 56 yd fg with 3 min left in 2nd q in a tied game. Kicker was a 76 ovr and was about 15 yds short. Go figure...

They usually go for it if they are too close to the endzone to punt and too far to take a field goal...most often if they are between your 30 and 40 yard line.

I've found that since college kickers aren't that good, long field goals are usually out of the question, making going for it on 4th instead not a bad choice.

A couple of days a ago the computer had the ball with about a minute to go in the first half. They completed a pass then they hurried back to the offense and then the qb hiked the ball with like 3 seconds left of the play clock and then the quarter back spiked the ball. It made me laugh at how stupid the CPU acts sometimes.

Another stupid thing happened yesterday when I was tied at 31 with Oregon with a couple of seconds to go in the game. Oregon just has to kick a easy field goal thats less than 20 yards to win. But they end up going for a TD and the qb threw a couple of incomplete passes and I won the game in OT.
