Greatest. Game. EVER!!!!

Okay, here's the scenario: #2 Michigan at Purdue. I grew tired of my starting quarterback throwing INTs, so I start my backup, Ulysses Cinquegrano (WHAT A NAME, LOL). The first quarter is tame, I'm up 7-3. In the second quarter Cinquegrano starts to light up, and it's 31-17 Wolverines at halftime. I score quickly in the third and I'm up 38-17. The Boilermakers get one back, and it's 38-24 after three. Fourth quarter the greatest I've ever seen. It starts with a 66 yard slant pattern touchdown for Purdue, and suddenly it's 38-31 with 3:00 to go. I FUMBLE the kickoff, and Purdue gets it. Three plays later, a 22 yard touchdown pass, tied 38-38. On my FIRST play from scrimmage, I call Vertical. My HB, David Underwood, runs up the field then zigzags towards the sideline. Cinquegrano hits him, and he breaks a tackle, and I go ahead 45-38 with a 79 yard touchdown. Purdue strikes again with the Slant, this time for an 82 yard touchdown. It's tied at 45 with 2:30 to go. Purdue gets it back, drives the field, and their RB jukes thrice, and spins his way to a 40 yard touchdown run with 2:03 left, suddenly it's 52-45 Purdue. I begin my drive, including a 4th and 10 conversion. With 39 seconds left, Cinquegrano hits John Ware in the back corner of the endzone to tie it. Markus Curry intercepts Purdue, but I fumble away. Curry intercepts AGAIN, and I have the ball at my own 44 with 9 seconds left and two timeout. I figure I have time to get in FG range, so I don't call a Hail Mary. I call a play that send my slot receiver, Jermaine Gonzales, slanting then cutting straight down the field. After a couple seconds I fire a laser that he snags. He breaks a tackle and outraces the Purdue secondary as time expires, and MICHIGAN WINS 59-52!!! Cinquegrano, a FRESHMAN making his FIRST START, goes 29-50 with 618 yards, 6 touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown.

Greatness score of 1805.

Re: Greatest. Game. EVER!!!!

this isn't my favorite game but its my #1 greatest game. Florida(me) vs. #11 Tennessee. they go up 7-0 early in the first i believe, it was one of us i don't know which sorry. anyways at halftime i'm leading 17-7. 3rd quarter comes around i kick a FG 20-7. that was all for the 3rd. in the 4th Tenn. strikes first with a long bomb TD pass. 14-20. they kick and i go down the field scoring a TD 27-14. there next drive the score a TD 27-21. a few drives later after a few fumbles/INTs/punts they get the ball back with about 1:00 on the clock. the QB and WR hook up for a deep pass into my territory. i stop them and force a 4th and about 18 play for them. the QB throws up the middle. i pick it off only to have the WR grab for it on the way down and fall into the endzone scoring the winning TD. so with about :30 left i get the ball and right away throw away my chances throwing a INT to the MLB. game over i lost 28-27 after i was leading most of the game. GG score of 1609.

Are you sure you're not playing Madden?

I just mean that in Madden 2003, the majority of my games ended this way with defenses disappearing in the 4th quarter and offenses easily bombing it up and down the field for quick scores. Once in a while would be fine, but I consistantly got it in Madden and is my only real complaint against an otherwise great game. I am glad that this is not the norm in NCAA.

Re: Greatest. Game. EVER!!!!

well I had my first greatest game...only a score of 792...but it was a good game. I played Air Force against #6 Auburn (Play Now mode). I had an incredible first half...controlling the ball 10 out of the 14 minutes. Chance Harridge had a great half..about 80 yards rushing and 100 yards passing. I was up 24-3 at the half. The 2nd half begins and Auburn comes out to play. I get stuffed the entire second half punting 3 times. Auburn storms back with 8 points in the 3rd quarter (TD + conversion) and 18 points in the 4th. I'm now down 26-24 and they kick off to me after their TD (about 1:45 left). I run/pass very well down to their 25...and then fumble! They get the ball back with 45 seconds left....I thought I let this one get away! They run two run plays and I call timeouts to stop the clock. On 3rd and 8 on their own 27 they run and the ball pops out! My RE jumps through the line....I have the ball on the 26 with 21 seconds left....1 timeout left. I do a quick pass play to my tight end to get a little closer for Ashcroft. I end up taking my last timeout with one second left. I line up on the 17yd line...split the uprights! Final Score:

#6 Auburn 26
Air Force 27

Nice game....somewhat dissapointed in the GG score..but man....this game is just unbelieveable!
