Idiots should have never swapped this game with the Arkansas/LSU game to begin with.
I agree.

It made it nearly impossible for me to get off of work to see the game. I've absolutely hated this Black Friday crap. It's unfair for those who work (especially retail) and want to see the game and those who want to shop.

Considering its not even close to a holiday up here, I had to skip work (my boss was confounded on why I would skip work to watch a football game; lack of college football fans up here sucks )

That and you just can't put this game on the biggest shopping day of the year. You're hurting a lot of business owners in Alabama. The Iron Bowl should bring in money, not take it away because people are staying home on the biggest shopping day of the year to watch the biggest football game of the year.

Black Friday to me is watching Nebraska crush Colorado after doing a little shopping that morning. It never felt like a true gameday these last 2 seasons in Auburn or Tuscaloosa.

Wasn't it a 3 year contract? I thought this was only year 2?

I kind of enjoyed it being separated out from all of the other rivalries that take place on this weekend, but I think you guys have brought up some solid reasoning even though it can be argued that by 2pm most people are done shopping if they really care about watching the game.

I'm pretty sure this is the last year. I sure hope so...

This needs to be a Saturday night 6 o'clock kick again.

edit: and for the record, I'd expect Alabama fans to do the same thing Auburn fans have done, if they had won. I'd just accept it and move on. You guys should visit the state and you would see how dullthe "bickering" really has been on here.. lol

I've actually liked it being on Friday. Wasn't it on Friday in the early 1990's? I could have sworn I watched 'Bama's 16-0 win in 1992 on a Friday.

That's true.

I worked 4am - 1pm yesterday and it was dying down as I was clocking out. Most of the good sales had all ready happened or everything was sold out.

I just miss this thing being on Saturday.
