This argument is the equivalent to a homeless man making fun of a rich man's ugly mansion. So yeah my point was, Oklahoma is still whack. The big 12 is whack, and so is the big east.

End conversation.

Side note: because im an SU fan I dont know what its like to be in big time games? You couldve came down harder buddy.

What does hurt is the fact that most Big East schools are stepping stones to the SEC, Big Ten, or Notre Dame.

The Good news is that from 2005-2009 The Big East held its own, We won BCS games and beat BCS team. This all happened while Syracuse was in the crapper, having a perennial Big East power back will at least help the image of the Big East. Adding TCU will undoubtedly help the Big East. If the Big East does not lose any more teams and adds UCF they will be fine in the long run.

I am 100% Certain that this year is a fluke for the Big East, they will be back next year and it will quiet the pundits just like they did in 2005.

Your chugging that syracuse cool aid too soon man. Lets not schedule 3 FCS scools and go over .500 first.

And there is no chance that the Big East football conference will ever get any respect. UCONN could have blown out Oklahoma and it would mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah, I don't think the BE will ever get much respect no matter what we do. WVU is still looked down upon by ESPN most of the time, constantly underdogs even during the White years despite proving ourselves week in and week out.

Until OU plays an undefeated team in the National Championship and blows them out, OU will be one of the most hated..ehh..probably viewed as one of the most "annoying" teams in college football. That's why I stopped trying to argue for OU, no one cares, OU wins the Big 12, it's because the conference was weak that year..etc etc..I don't care if OU played a 7-5 Western Kentucky team in the Fiesta Bowl and beat em 100-0, I'm just glad they won a BCS game, I honestly don't care who it was to, there's not an asterisk next to that win. I'm not wanting respect, history shows that OU has a pretty respectful program, I could care less what an Ohio State, Alabama..etc fan thinks about OU, I learned that on here a long time ago.
