College Football: Who and Why?

What team or teams are you passionate about? (any division or level)
Santa Clara (Dropped Football) Army and Cal
Why are you a fan of that/those teams? (History, Traditions, Players, Coaches, Playstyle, Memories)
My dad went to Cal, and I used to live in the Bay Area so I am a fan. Army because of the history and tradition.
Did NCAA Football make you a fan?
No
What teams do you consider your rivals or loathe?
For Cal: USC, UCLA and Oregon. I dislike Stanford when we play them, but I like their style of play, and loved Harbaughs play style. For Army: NAvy and Air Force, oh and Notre Dame.
Teams i hate in General: Oregon, and Notre Dame.

I started liking Minnesota in about 2008 I think. Took a trip there, and saw a bunch of Golden Gophers merchandise and sort of took interest. Sadly, I still don't follow them a whole lot, as we don't get a whole lot of CFB games on TV (Need to get the big 10 network ), and as a result most of my knowledge of players/conferences/etc comes from playing the NCAA Football games.

I've been an Ohio State fan my whole life. Growing up in Canton, Ohio, the state is Buckeye Country. My first big memory of OSU is watching the Buckeyes win the 1997 Rose Bowl over Arizona State, and I've only grown as a fan since then.

Not only have I followed OSU athletics my whole life, I was also fortunate to be a student there, receiving my degree from The Ohio State University in August 2010.
