LSU Players Involved in Bar-Brawl

LSU Coach says players violated team rules

Quote:
BRPD said LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson "and several other LSU football players" were implicated by witnesses as being involving in a fight in the parking lot of a bar near campus, Stone said. Four people involved in the incident were treated at an area hospital.

Several people who claim to have witnessed the incident tell 9NEWS that around 2 a.m. Friday, a young man driving a truck blew his horn to get a group of people blocking the driveway to move out of the way at Shady's Bar on East Boyd Ave. That's when they say a group of people pulled the driver out of the truck and began beating him. That's when they say a Marine who had just returned from training ran to assist the driver and was beaten and thrown to the ground. Multiple people who claim to have witnessed the incident tell 9NEWS LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson then kicked the Marine in the head.
Miles apologizes, players' actions unacceptable

Quote:
Starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson had been the only player specifically connected to the fight that ended with four males with injuries that required medical treatment, but Miles mentioned Saturday that starting offensive lineman T-Bob Hebert was involved as well. Miles indicated that all of his players were accounted for at Thursday night’s 10:30 p.m. curfew; the incident at an off-campus bar occurred roughly three hours later. The players involved have already seen internal punishment meted out for breaking curfew.

Re: LSU Players Involved in Bar-Brawl

Everything is touch-and-go right now really. Yea, they are investigating it, but there's only so much investigating you can do about a bar parking lot fight. The most I see of this is a game suspension.

I'm still trying to figure this out though. From what I hear, Jefferson doesn't typically go out. T-Bob...is not suprising...but Jefferson doesn't strike me as that type of person.

Re: LSU Players Involved in Bar-Brawl

All i've gathered is that if Jordan Jefferson was involved he's a heck of a fighter lol.

I think unless someone is arrested for this incident then there will be suspensions other then that sounds like they've done a lot of running already for being out after curfew.

Jefferson, a backup tackle and DT, and a freshman WR going to be arrested.

*******. So much for that maturity role and "overcoming the hate" eh, Jordan.
