Re: why missouri wont be as bad as you think in the sec

Their first test will be against our defense which will be without at least 1, probably both, of our starting CBs, All-American FS Bacarri Rambo, and most likely a starting LB Alec Ogletree

if they don't take advantage of that, they're in for a long year

btw, I hate our damn drug policies, UGA is the only school in the SEC that suspends players for their first offense.. every other school hands out warnings. It also doesn't help when the school president decides to drug test every athlete a few days after spring break.. WHY does that even happen?

Hell..Vanderbilt is recruiting at an all time high and has a coach who is fast becoming a hot commodity on the Coaching Circuit.

Tennessee and Miss State are probably the next closest to the "cupcake" label and neither is really even close to being a cupcake.

Everyone else is either as good or better than Mizzou right now.
Well Ole Miss and Kentucky are cupcakes and Vanderbilt is only okay. I don't care what kind of recruiting they get.

Should I name off the "only okay" or cupcake teams in the Big 10, Big 12, etc.?

Our conference championship game loser beat your conference championship game loser.

Slightly off-topic. But Maryland is missing Franklin right about now.

UGA was probably the 5th best team in the SEC last year. They got to the title game because they got to skip out in playing all the big boys at the time just like this year.

LSU, Bama, and Arkansas not to mention they lost South Carolina early. Plus that MSU game went to OT and was anybody's game.

Don't kid yourself. This is simply a case of Mizzou thinking they are better than they are. They have a good program but it's not an elite program like Alabama, Oklahoma, USC, LSU, ect.
And the first thing Mizzou fans will say is, "Well, when we get to the SEC, we'll recruit all of that SEC speed", as if the other SEC schools are going to all of a sudden not be able to get that talent. A lot of fans are hung up on getting DGB over other programs, including SEC schools, so they think that's a sign of things to come. They need to understand that SEC schools get this kind of talent every year, and they don't roll out the red carpet for recruits like Mizzou did for DGB. You would've thought it was the second coming the way some were acting on signing day on campus.

And yeah, that stat about Mizzou's record vs. the SEC has led to what exactly ? Like 2 North division titles, zero Big XII Championships and zero BCS bowl bids, when really, OU and maybe 1 or 2 other teams were their only competition for the most part. Now you have, LSU, Bama, Auburn, Arkansas, USC and eventually UF, UGA, UT, etc.

But the way some of these Mizzou fans I've talked to think they're going to come into the SEC and win the conference's 7th straight mNC.

8 wins would be a success this season in my opinion.
