I'm withholding serious judgement until the findings and report on the entire scenario are released to the public, but if Briles had any clue what was going on he needs to be held accountable. Winning football games doesn't excuse you from the things that have been supposedly going on in that program.

Key word is supposedly.. Obviously I wasn't there, but the allegations seem pretty serious. I'm curious what the investigation contains.

Me too. I can't believe this firing is media pressure. I think there is some damning stuff in that report.

As a fan who has struggled with Baylor football for years upon years, this really, really blows. Love Briles style and personalty, but if he knew and helped cover this stuff up, F him.

Wouldn't Briles being gone pretty much mean that the report has some ****ed up stuff in it?

I mean, prior to this the man was untouchable there it seems.

I would think so. I can't imagine it's just pressure from the media.

In addition to Briles being outed, the president is transitioning to chancellor (?) and the AD is being sanctioned and placed on probation.

The report isn't going to be pretty. I don't think it's media related at all.
