Time for the husker nation to save face--fire peterson, hire polini as head football coach and make solich the athletic director. Now THAT's a move that would make everyone happy without causing any hard feelings. :>

LOL Nebraska thinks they can just hire anyone they want.Good decision by Nutt at this moment in time Arkansas is a better job than Nebraska.

hell, why would anyone want to go to a school that just fired their coach that went 9-3. The money ain't worth only to be looking for another job if you don't win the conference and go to the big game.

Sorry for the irrelevant response, but the topic of this thread is just so funny.

I saw this on ESPN.com and it said something about Nutt and I was like LOL

**end of immature moment**

Re: Nutt to Nebraska?

Pederson is a moron. This guy fires Solich with a 9-3 record with no top name coach in his back pocket waiting for the job. I mean there are plenty of NFL coaches available, and college cordinators like USC OC Chow. I hope Nutt stays at Arkansas because he is no upgrade over Solich and that is what was supposed to be the whole point of him being fired. Pederson better save face and just hire Pelini otherwise he will be a total failure and probably fired within a year.

Next year? If he doesn't come through with the top name coach he was talking about, he should be fired immediately.

To be fair, HE wasn't talking about anything. That's the biggest mistake he's made.

you break the story, you CONTROL the story. From day one, Steve Pederson has allowed leaks to damage the process, and took the wrong reaction when trying to avoid those leaks. He shut down.

What kind of idiot goes after a 10-6 NFL HEAD COACH in a year where there are SEVEN NFL HEAD COACHING VACANCIES?

Pederson has the hottest young commodity in college football sitting there in Lincoln, and won't even give him the courtesy of a phone call.
