Vanderbilt's offense this year was mostly a mix of wildcat, designed quarterback runs, wide receiver screens and short passes over the middle.

Then when defenses would stack the box, they'd throw it deep to Jordan Matthews.

Not on NCAA 14!

Wow. There were more people than that watching XFL games back in the day...

Regarding Bama OC job. Good hire for Michigan.

I'm hearing Freddie Kitchens name being floated around as a possible replacment. If that happens I'm going to go on a rampage of epic proportions. We've already see what one former Bama QB can do as a coach, I don't need to see a way, waaaayyyy worse Part 2 of that.

To me, it looks like Franklin uses an offense that fits whomever he has in that system. If I remember correctly, he's used a different offense for every offensive coordinator/head coaching job he's had. He turned Josh Freeman into a first round pick, so he's gotta be able to do something with the number one pocket passer out of high school's sophomore year. Just kidding, I still like Freeman.

I completely agree. I've heard he is taking some assistants with him, and maybe some of the recruits.

Larry Johnson quits at PSU, similar to Orgeron at USC, pissed he didn't get the job, so he's leaving.

....oh, and rumor is Franklin has not told anyone at Vanderbilt that he's headed anywhere else.

Wow. Mike Vrabel is reportedly taking a job with Bill O'Brien and the Texans.

That's unexpected and a big time blow. He was our best recruiter.
