College Football New Uniforms

I heard a rumor that OU is getting an alternate uniform. I saw pics and hope it isn't true.

This is ironic since just two days ago I was talking about how we never change...

Hope it's just a rumor.

Seeing as they're only alternates, not bad at all. Besides being OU that is.

Not really. Especially since they'll only wear them 1-2 times a year.

I went back and forth on these. I actually like the uniform in the first picture with the white pants and white helmet.

With that said, I feel like Nike always does a little "too" much. I'm not a fan of the "wood grain" pattern throughout the jersey and helmet. It's supposed to represent the Conestoga wagon of the Sooner Schooner but I think the uniforms would look a lot cleaner without it.

Overall I guess it could have been worse.

I've been against changing uniforms or messing around with tradition but I understand what OU is doing. CFB is an arms race and OU is trying to keep up. Stoops talked a lot about recruiting when interviewed about these uniforms.

When I watched videos the uniforms looked better. I also saw the players wearing different combos than what is shown above. They can be completely interchangeable so they can were all white, all red, etc.

Also, OU is planning a huge upgrade to their stadium and will be adding seats in the South End Zone to completely bowl the stadium in.

I'm against them since I think Oklahoma regular home and away is just perfect. But they are only alternates.

First thing that I thought of looking at the new Oklahoma jerseys was "Did Arkansas get another new look?"
