Re: Week 3 Discussion

The refs helped Texas in the first half but that second half was us. That **** hurt bad. But whatever. I think Daniels will be fine. Nine games left in the regular season. And at least UCLA lost and LSU won.

Dude is great running the ball but he makes some awful decisions throwing and I don’t think he can see over the O-line. Now that they’ve found a #1 RB with Dae (I hope and believe he’s the best of the group) I think Pass will be more successful.

It looks like the Huskers caught whatever disease Florida and Florida State have. It might be 2 years before they have another winning season.

Re: Week 3 Discussion

When a coach is coming in with a new system into a situation where the team hasn't been consistently good, they might have to tear down and rebuild. They're not destined to win a national title in the first year just because the fans are passionate.

I think Florida and FSU and Nebraska will all be fine. They're just gonna have rough first years.

As a USC fan, I'm a bit more confused and concerned about what's going on in LA, especially with Wazzu coming to town, but whatever, I knew we had a difficult early schedule. I wanted 8-4/9-3, but if we're 7-5 this year and retain Helton, I'm fine.

It's not time for us to hit the eject button yet, I don't think. It might be time for some staff changes, but even that I want to withhold judgment on until the end of the year.

If you're one of the eighteen programs with first year coaches - especially in very strong Power 5 conferences - it's okay to accept that everything wont be fixed in a single off-season.
