Oregon State is bowl eligible for the first time in 8 years. No guarantee though with only 6 PAC bowls because the one in San Francisco was canceled and 8 eligible teams in the conference are likely, but we'll see.

Rule question.

I saw a NC State player call a fair catch on a kickoff at the 3 but it was moved to the 25. That seems odd to me?

A fair catch inside the 25 is considered a touchback to reduce the number of returns in the name of "player safety"
