2011/2012 PS3 Roster Project

Ok more than likely I am going have a lot of people blow up on me over this, but I'm just trying to give a little constructive criticism to your roster project. I'm rather new to this site but not new to roster making. I actually have a 2011-2012 finished roster, however I do not share it with people because I usually get people flipping out over ratings, or mad because someones favorite walk on freshman isn't in the game...etc, etc. I actaully posted earlier in the year to help out with this project but without any response. If you have no time deadline for this to be finished, then just ignore this post all together. If you would like to get it finished before this season is over thats not going to happen the way it is going.

Suggestions
1.) Only worry about Player Names/Player Bio/Jersey No. at first (Keeping the roster set to redshirt players or fix corrections, whenever someone else could be editing names is a waste of time)
2.) Only take the roster set whenever you are 100% sure you are going to edit (Doing this will help eliminate not knowing which roster is most up-to-date)
3.) Don't take the roster if you are going to do (1) team. As nice as everyone is trying to be in this post, this does not help, just delays and again, questions which roster is most up-to-date. At least do 6 teams, come on that take like a hour.
4.) Once Names/Player Bio/Jersey No. are done then edit names, redshirt and rate however you would like.

Again I'm just trying to help out, it looks like this project has been going on since early this year so goodluck to you!

Alot of ppl agree with you on here, and alot of that has been said multiple times. This project is pretty much moving at a snail pace right now. Mostly because everyone wanted the big conferences done and they got done and because of the holidays.

I have finals this week so I am probably not going to do any work on the rosters this week.I think I mentioned that somewhere in this thread. Starting next week I will be able to really start hammering out some work on this, I have said a couple of times that I plan on doing the mid majors and smaller conferences next. I have done the BIG10, PAC10, CUSA, MWC, most of the ACC, and started the A10. I have gotten plenty done already and will do much more to this starting next week. Working full time and going to school full time does not leave a lot of free time.

I was not picking on any one person at all. sportnutz, from what I have seen from this post, you have been the glue keeping this together. I was just trying to put a little insight into your project from experience I have gained through doing way too many roster sets.

Guys, I think we can jump start this project next week. Sorry, I've been away....I'm 35, got 3 kids, working full time and building a house in my spare time.

I did the top 25, the SEC and the Big East.

I'd like to have the File Monday & Tue. I have two days mostly free. I could get at least one conference done during that time. When I've asked lately, no one responds to who currently has the file.
