What do you use? i use both. Theres different kinds of shots where I can use the stick and where I dont.

Over the past 2 years, I've used the shot stick around the basket and the button for jumpers.

In a summer camp, I was scouting a player that had a unique jumper - he doesn't get that high off the ground and has a hitch. I found the shot stick better than the button by giving me a "bigger target" to put down my thumb on so I could better get into this shooter's rhythm.

Yup. I use shot stick when in the paint, but X for shooting jumpers and treys.

shot stick for long and mid range jumpers, and i use the button for dunks, and when i'm inside the paint

you guys using the button to shoot are missing out. Check out "The Program" sticky at the top of the page. You are loosing so many shooting options by using the button.

Go into practice mode and practice using it. It will be easy then.
