I'm going to be buying the Elite if I can find it on Sunday and then sell my Premium on ebay.

neither until i fill up my current drive with things i absolutely have to keep which might be never

If I were to get the RROD on my current system before my extended warranty runs out, I would probably pay the difference and get the Elite instead. If not, I will stick with what I have. Heck, I keep trying to justify to myself I should buy a PS3 but since I don't watch that many DVDs and there are no games on the PS3 I want to play, I just can't make myself take the plunge. This is the longest I have every gone after a console release without picking up the latest and greatest.

neither, unless my launch system dies and then i'll either due the walmart switch or find a decent deal on the elite. Could care less about the HDD.

the elite and increased HDD size are intended for heavy HD content users/downloaders. I don't fall in that category, so I'm perfectly fine with my premium. Even if it dies, I'll use my warranty to get another.
